- Clients are directly connected to the archive so that the Exchange server will not be burdened.
- Users do not need the Outlook Add-in in order to retrieve and use archived messages.
- The optional Add-In is available as an MSI package (Microsoft-Installer), with silent install as well.
- The Add-In rights are controlled from the exchange@PAM server, so that permissions can be added and re- moved at any time without manual access to the client machine.

Offline Access - exchange@PAM provides an Offline-Archive for notebook users
- The Offline-Archive can hold 10GB of data

- The synchronization can be set to run automatically in the background.
- The size of the Offline-Archive on a notebook can be restricted by an administrator.
Tipologie di archiviazione
- Archiving is possible with standard automated jobs for each Exchange Organization.
- Special jobs can be assigned for each Active Directory Organizational Unit.
- Special jobs can be deployed for individual mailboxes.
- The exchange@PAM solution allows for the archiving with filter criteria, such as age, size, folder, object type, etc.

Exchange@PAM provides a delete job for the scheduled deletion of archived data that has been marked for
deletion and has an expired retention date. - Special jobs can be assigned to individual folders that are used inside a mailbox.
- The solution allows the archiving of used mailboxes (watermark archiving)
- Exchange@PAM allows administrators to specify whether only messages with attachments are to be archived for a Group, if necessary.
- Attachments can be archived in their original format or in a „neutral“ fomal (e.g. PDF, XML...).
